Oven Clock Not Honouring Timezone

B.C. Canada has adopted permanent year-round daylight saving time. The new timezone is permanently UTC-7 and is called Pacific time (PCT), Other provinces in Canada have likewise moved to permanent daylight saving time.

On the morning of November 1, 2026, the clock on my Anova Precision Oven 2.0 was off by -1 hour, indicating the software had not been updated with the new permanent daylight and had “Fallen Back” on the old PDT schedule. Presumably it will “Spring Forward” in 2027 unless the oven software is updated with the new timezone information.

BC is not the only jurisdiction in North America to have moved to permanent Daylight Savings. Please review the new timezone changes for Provinces and States in North America and update the APO 2.0 firmware accordingly.
