I just noticed this today when looking up cooking recipe for my Anova device. I was appalled to find out that recipes are now behind a paywall. Ridiculous!!! I suppose we can figure things out by ourselves but really should be included with the device…as it was! This is likely my last device from this company due to their ever-expanding pay wall practices. Good luck ya’ll.

I have some positive news.
Peter Chua at anova (whilst I had reported something else) moved my grandfathered account email (which I had blocked due to too much email spam from anova some years ago) over to my main email (took around 30 minutes to transfer over, then I had to reconnect my anova)
Once again (has happened before) all my favourite recipes disappeared, last time it took about 3 weeks for them to come back just as mysteriously as they went.
So, if you find yourself in the same situation, that is a solution for sure, quick n’ painless!
(all you need to do is get anova to match a pre-exisiting anova connected account, doubtless I am not the only one who downloaded & essentially forgot it till the paywall.
