Temperature too high

My precision oven arrived today, and I tried my first recipe. However, I noticed that the oven temperature always goes around 6-10°F higher than the level I set and stays there. This of course is a problem if I set the sous vide to a timer instead of using the probe, because it will cook the food at a higher temperature than I set.

I have updated the firmware, and also reset the oven, but it still happens. I have attached a screen shot of the app to demonstrate this. You can see the oven temperature is 10°F higher than my desired temperature. Is this normal, or is there an issue with my oven, because it doesn’t do this on the YouTube videos I’ve seen about the oven.

I have the same problem when proofing bread. Set at 88, but the temperature read-out shows 93.
