The torch was fun and all, but....

So as the title says, my weed burning torch is crazy, loud, and fun to use when searing steaks, but the last time I seared steaks, I simply got my BBQ grille preheated on full blast, tossed my steaks on, for a few minutes on both sides… standing right over the top of them, for constant monitoring, and it just gave them a much better natural smokey BBQ flavor.

Oh, my steaks were Petite Sirloins (Picanha) that I SV’d for 16 hrs at 133F. I did them for “only” 16 hrs, because we had company, and I didn’t want them too awfully tender :slight_smile: Not trying to throw people off, that are not used to super tender beef :slight_smile: lol For myself, I normally do them at 133F for 24hrs, nowadays.
