Why does my Nano Shut Off before wanted time ?

Hello,
I just bought an Anova Nano and Cooking Container and am using it for the first time to create a 36 hour L reuteri / L gasseri yogurt at 41 degrees celsius.
However, after I program the Nano with this information, after about an hour, it shuts off ! I reprogram it again and it shuts off again well before the 36 hour mark, saying that the time is at zero !
Can someone help me with this ? Could it be because the machine is plugged into an extension cord.
Thank you in advance.

I thoughts the sous vide cookers did not shut off when time is over, so even if your timer is off this should not be an issue.
I would anyhow look into 2 possible causes:

  • erroneous programming (36 min instead of hours)
  • micro power cut that stops the cooker

Thank you very much ! It seems to be working now continuously…so I think it was some sort of micro power cut because I put in the 36 hours as I did the previous times. Thank you for taking the time to get back to me.
