My MIL gifted me one for my birthday in 2016 but I was pregnant at the time with non stop morning sickness… So food was the last thing on my mind. I finally got the Anova out today thinking I’d make some garlic butter chicken. Follow all the instructions, turn on the device and 2 seconds later I get a system error.
Looking online it seems like it was a very common issue with the 1st Gen ones, I tried all the fixes that worked for some people but it still shuts off after a second or two.
Did there end up being a solution to this or did people just get their devices replaced? What can I do??? I was really looking forward to using it, first time and it failed, I’m so disappointed.
