Hi everyone. I’m from Brazil, and I’ve owned a precision cooker since approximately 2017. Every time I used it, I cleaned it and stored it in the original box. I hadn’t used it for a while, and today when I went to use it, the water temperature was completely erratic, fluctuating between 65°C, rising to 68°C, then dropping back down to below 40°C… and it got stuck at 217.5°C, and stayed there. I saw some reports about replacing the TM7707 part; has anyone had success doing this in a similar situation?

217.5 C??? I can tell you that older models (and I don’t know how old) did not have passivated circuit boards (meaning they did not paint an insulating varnish over the board), and moisture could cause some erratic behavior, which goes away when the part is dried.
