The app cannot accept spaces or special characters on the password. My internet provider assigns my password with special characters ( it cannot be changed). I created a guest account with a password that had only letters and numbers. I also had to turn off wifi auto connect temporarily on phone. It works great now. I hope the helps someone else.

Just goes to show that Anova cannot adapt to their customers needs.
Time to bit the bullet and say goodbye to Anova forever.
