Anyone getting Alexa Announcements for the oven?

Can anyone confirm they are getting Alexa announcments for the oven? Mine stopped announcing over a year ago.

I contacted Anova about getting spoken announcements a year ago. They are aware of this, but it appears that it is not on the list of things they are going to get to soonest. I discovered a work around for those with iPhones. I still get oven notifications (ie written) from Alexa on my iPhone so I just tell the iPhone to speak such notifications.

Arrrg, this stinks. I need the announcements to come out of all my Alexa devices throughout my condo like it used to. It’s so critical since oven can’t stop cooking when done. I need to know when cook is done.

You can contact with anova community team. It will tell about alexa announcement.

I’ve done that. They don’t seem to know that this was a feature and it used to work. Very annoying.

That’s because the have never been taught anything technical pertaining to the operation of any product, so ask them anything technical get a big fat nothing 99% of the time.

Sad state of affairs.
