Hi, I am looking out for people has experience in using the Anova to cook asian dishes.
Hi,
We’ve done a bit of Asian cooking. What were you looking for in terms of information? We tried a slow cooked pork in a spicy sauce (kind of a take on a Filipino dish) as well as a Korean dish with spicy sauce and beans.
Both worked well as the beans and the meat would have needed to have a low temperature and a long cook time. Also we didn’t have to worry about things sticking to the bottom of the pot or the sauce burning away from excessive heat. With the meat though the fat tends to stay in the meat so if you have a fatty piece, unlike cooking it on the stove top, you cannot skim the fat.
