Bluetooth application

What is the status of being able to pair to a device, e.g. smart phone, Kindle Fire or similar, and what might be the ultimate function/purpose for that ability?

Hi @ransom17‌, the iOS app is still in development, we’re hoping to submit in the next few weeks for approval and launch. The goal is to provide you with incredible content (like the recipes we have on the website) in app for you to use in tandem with your device, as well as arm you with the controls to set, operate and calibrate the device.

It’s concerning that there has been no mention of the Kickstarter-promised Android app, and that this post specifically singles out the iOS app. Is an Android app still being developed? If not, don’t you think you owe your backers an explanation? Many of us don’t have iProducts, and backed the project with the intention of being able to control the Precision Cooker from the device we already own, since that’s what we were told.

I’m quite disappointed that this topic is being ignored. You’ve come and made other posts since your last one in this thread. Please address this so us Android users have an idea if we’ll get an app for our devices like we were told upon backing the project.
