I have a recipe for a 1 lb leg of lamb that calls for an 8 hour cook time. I have a 4 lb leg of lamb, how long should I cook it for?
If you can split it up into 1 lbs pieces it would all be done in 8 hours, but if you want to leave it all in one piece (which I assume you do), I am not sure.

For a 4lb leg of lamb, you’ll need to increase the cooking time for sure. Assuming it is boneless, I would push the cook time from 8 hours up at at least 10 with a max of 14. I wish I was joining this dinner - lamb is one of my favorites!
