We are fans of the Great British Baking Show and would like to try Mary Berry’s Traditional Christmas Pudding with Brandy Butter at https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/traditional_christmas_38771 Some of you might have seen a recent “Masterclass” show on PBS with Mary making the pudding.
The recipe calls for 7 hours at simmer in a water bath. Has anyone done this with an APC as the recipe lists with the “water to come half way up the side of the bowl.” and simmer for 7 hours?
Or would it be better just to follow the same method of using lightly sealed canning jars submerged in the water as found in several Anova recipes?
