I am new to this Sous Vide cooking method. I’ve used my Anova stick a few times. Tonight I used it for chicken and I noticed that it was not circulating the water. It did cook the chicken though, and after browning it on both sides, it turned out to be a very tasty first attempt cooking chicken Sous Vide style.
Why would it stop circulating mid cook the third time I’ve used the gadget?
When you say the water is ‘not circulating’ is that because you can’t see or hear it doing so or because the impeller on your device is not turning?

The propeller was not turning. I unplugged it for awhile and then tried it again. It worked when I tried it the second time. I have no idea why it didn’t work when I was trying to cook my food. I will try again later this week.
