Hi,
I just got my Anova Precision cooker WiFi model, and I have it configured to connect using my home WiFi. I would like to be able to use it away from home as well, but when I tried to connect to it with the app at a friend’s house, the app just said it can’t find Anova. Is there a way to force it to use bluetooth once WiFi is enabled? Is there a way to configure the Anova for multiple WiFi networks?
Thanks,
Drew

Funny…happened to me TODAY as well…I was wondering the same thing.
The Anova cannot connect to multiple Wi-Fi networks, but you can unpair and reconnect to whichever you need it to connect to. However, you will then have to go through the Wi-Fi flow again.
Can I at least use bluetooth when away from home?
Bluetooth is very limited range - 30 feet or so.
Yes, I know. I want to be able to use the Anova in locations away from home. I can set it manually, but I’d like to be able to use the app. The app refuses to connect to the Anova through Bluetooth now, though.
