While my smart phone automatically connected when visiting relatives last Thanksgiving, my Anova would not. Does one have to delete the Anova app and complete a new setup at each location or should the Anova automatically connect to known wifi signals?
You have to do the wifi setup each time if you want it to connect to a new network. If you’re regularly going to be using it in multiple locations, you may be better off just using the bluetooth connectivity. (the advantage to using wifi is that you can check the status / get notifications when you’re remote, as well as having control all over your home/location). Bluetooth coverage is about 30 feet.
