Hi everyone, I recently started getting interested in sous vide cooking and I’m excited to try it for the first time. I love the idea of consistent results and better flavor, especially for meats and meal prep. For those who’ve been using sous vide for a while, what’s the first recipe you recommend for beginners? Also, any mistakes I should avoid on my first cook?Looking forward to learning from this awesome community!
Before you cook anything I would check the guidelines here to make sure your food is properly cooked. Baldwin sells a book but all of the essential information is on his site.
For your first cooks I would do something fairly easy that does not take too long.
My favorites are salmon and chicken. Steak is good as well if you want to do a hard quick sear.
Vegetables are also good
