I just got my Anova 3.0 precision cooker. I am doing a test run and I need to know if I have a problem.
Test Run:
- Temperature 100F, Time 6 hours. Configured on iPhone.
- Configured Sous Vide. Water filled above the minimum Anova line.
- Clicked “start cooking” on the App.
- Unit came on. Blinking Blue light. Immediate, very loud (70 decible measured) high pitched sound. Too loud for me.
- When unit was within 1F of the target temperature, the sound became intermittant.
- When unit was within 0.3F the sound went away. The Blue light became steady. The unit appears to be functioning well
My question: Is this normal to have this very loud sound as the unit heats the water up? This is too loud. What should I do?
