Hi, newbie to forum here but have first generation machine, a question?, it’s coming up to apple picking season do you think it is ok to pasturize apple juice using the anova, and I mean directly so that it flows through the machine itself not with a bag suspended in water?, would it react with the metal do you think?, I have to get the apple juice to 160f to pasturize
I would not recommend that you use the circulater directly in the juice. It is designed for use in clear water.
The heating element gets hotter than the set point so you may scorch your juice.
