Recipes created in my app would be lost if phone is changed?

I just dropped my phone onto the hard floor today; it’s all malfunctioning now.

I just would like to know:
if the recipes I created in the current app linked to my account or only locally saved in the app.

I’ve replaced my phone and it’s fine - i.e. the recipes are linked to your login so as long as you know your login you will still have them on your new phone.
