The unit has shut off twice now at around the 36-40 hour mark. Just recently it started making a loud grinding noise and the motor got very hot. I stopped the unit and noticed there was water between the LCD and the face plate. Unfortunately it no longer responds to touch making it completely inoperable. I have already applied for an exchanged unit. Hereās the cool noise.

Anova has replaced this unit and the new one shows up tonight. Thanks again for the support!
Mineās doing something similar. Was the rubber part just above the skirt really hot? I burned my hand a bit getting it out of the holder.
