Picked up my Anova Precision Cooker over black friday, it just refuses to connect
I followed the instructions on the support website and still nothing
Did anyone have similar issues with theirs? What was the solution? (I have sent an email and message to Anova support, but hope to have it solved sooner rather than later)
Which version of the APC did you buy?
Did you download the latest version of the App?
possible cause:
Does your SSID contain a space (or other strange character character like %§…)?
Does you Wifi password have a space (or other strange character character like %§…)?
Is you SSID or password more than 23 characters?

Also, make sure they are on the same wifi band. I have a Netgear router and my phone and the Anova unit have to both be on either the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz band. If your router supports 2.4 and 5Ghz then make sure the networks are split (don’t have same SSID/name).
