Oh noes - one of my precision cookers (kickstarter model) started crazy beeping as if someone was hammering away at the screen.
Temp had dropped right down etc.
My second device has taken over, so all is not lost on the food front. (looks like surf and turf was a good idea in the end!)
I’ve read this could be down to steam\condensation behind the screen. So it’s now in a bag with some rice in an attempt to dry it out.

Will have to make sure that the bath is fully covered from now on (goes away to order a lid for the container)
