I was on a flight this weekend and while in the air decided to peruse the Anova app recipe list in preparation for the evening. I was surprised to learn that the app just gets stuck in “Connect to Start Cooking” mode and doesn’t proceed past that. Apps from the competitors all work fine off line. While not a dramatic show stopper, it’s certainly an inconvenience as there are many other times that Internet access might not be available.
