Simple solution run a poll open to everyone about having the Option for the oven to turn off when the timer expires. This is what almost all countertop ovens do in the USA
I realized I was burning a lot of my food because I was searing it to finish and… not running to it immediately. My brava oven auto turns off. A lot of my smart appliances auto turn off.

It does not. And ANOVA was able to brick hundreds of devices with a completely unauthorised over the air updated.
More proof that the executives at ANOVA made a poor choice when selecting a software design firm!

Wow I thought this would be figured out by now. I’ve had the original oven for years now. Never made any sense. I haven’t bought a single Anova product since and never will. Who wants a proper combi oven in their home? I have owned how many overs over my life? 25? 30? More? How many did not provide for turning off the heat at the end of a program/time? Just this one. Stubborn and stupid often go together.
