Long weekend approaching, what’s on the menu??
For me every weekend is a long weekend. One joy of retirement.
Nothing big planned but I will be making a batch of egg bites with the last of the seasonal herbs before it freezes. Not sous vide but I have sourdough bread cold fermenting in the refrigerator. The Anova oven with it’s steam feature looks perfect for this.
Figuring out what to do with the 2 giant bags of apples I picked last weekend with the kids! Apple leather? Apple chips? Streusel?
